Social Goods Co-Op is a lifestyle concept storeI that celebrates socially inspired designs and products.  The designs and products not only inspired by, but also inspires our neighborhood in Hong Kong as well as our neighboring countries.  We take inspirations from what could be found off our neighborhood, by using these ordinary/daily seen but forgotten objects/materials, and transforming them into beautiful designs and products.  Social Goods Co-Op wants to share an ideology: “BE INSPIRED BY OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, find true beauty in our community and create surprises and joys for our everyday life!“ Through the design of our products and community-based production line, we want to redefine beauty and creativity for our sustainable neighborhood.

Social Goods Co-Op developed our products with development and community-based production support from HNDSME Co-Op.  Pronouced as H-N-D-S-M-E Co-Op.  It means Handmade Small Medium Enterprise Co-Op.  We are a local Hong Kong company that provides small, affordable, sustainable batch production, by using underused local skilled labour and resources in Hong Kong.  We aim to keep these skills both modern and traditional crafts relevant, which are dying otu due to large scale industralization not just our neighbouring states but globally.  They are skills that are irreplaceable part of our glocal culture.  which will require a new economic model that can balance the interests of people and the environment with profit.
